Adirondack Video Astronomy needed a very technically specific products database including search tools integrated into a shopping cart with real time integration to UPS and FedEx. Solution: Achaean created an on-line store with a custom administration section to allow entry and editing of products and all their +100 associated technical details. This admin section also allows them to control inventory on hand and pricing among other things. The shopping cart was created with real-time shipping rate integration to UPS and FedEx. Status: Complete. An upgrade to the products display pages is under way with an upgrade to the shipping functions planned for the future. |

Business Need: Their prior existing website was out of touch with the Chambers updated corporate image. They came to Achaean looking for a long term realtionship with web developement firm that would be able to incorporate the Chamber's new logo into the updated sites design, and give them the dynamic updatable site that would fit with their changing database of businesses. They also wanted a way to increase the community's involvement in the Chamber's website. All of these functions need to be controlled by an admin section.
Solution: Achaean built a back end admin section that allows Colonie Chamber to make updates. The new site includes the ability to upload images and pdfs for posting newsletters to the site. With in house training on using the admin sections, Achaean also took care of the DNS pointing, hosting, and creating all of the Chamber's email account.
